Longtime Board Member Steu Brown Retires

Board Director, L. Steuart Brown. Steu retired from the DEC Board of Directors after 40 years of service. During his time on the Board, he served as the Treasurer for many years. He helped to build DEC’s success through smart investments, and savings. His suggestions and guidance helped DEC to successfully navigate through some tough financial times, including COVID, enabling our doors to stay open and continue serving our clients. It is safe to say, Steu ensured DEC will endure for many more years to come.
We are saddened to lose him as a part of our Board, and it doesn’t seem to be enough to offer our heartfelt thanks for everything he has done for DEC over these past 40 years, but we let him go with the hopes and wishes that his next chapter in life brings him, and his wife Anne Allison, all good things, as they move to a warmer climate to be with family, and build many happy memories to cherish the rest of their days.
You will be missed!
